What they do

Twice Sold Tales is an independent used bookstore at 155 Main Street, serving downtown Farmington readers since 1993. Housed in the former J.J. Newberry’s department store, the shop pairs decorative tin ceilings and creaky floors with more than 30,000 affordable books. Its shelves feature Maine authors and history alongside fiction, world history and children’s books. For the November ArtWalk, the bookstore welcomes Farmington watercolor artist and art educator Katherine Richards.
